
It is believed by SSW's leadership that our vision, mission and core values form the foundation on which the organization will evolve and grow. Since 2009, SSW has worked to redefine its identity and through this exercise has defined a refreshed organizational vision and mission that aligns with the 2010-2015 strategic direction as well as established values that support their attainment. Vision, Mission, and Values are defined as follows:
Our corporate vision defines the overall goal of SSW that all business activities and processes should contribute toward achieving. The vision for SSW in 2010-2015 is simply stated as follows:

Our mission statement defines the scope of our business and who our customers are. It provides the direction required for future organizational development. SSW's mission statement to support our Strategic Plan over the next 5 years is as follows:

Our core values define our operating philosophies that guide our organizations internal conduct. They define who we are and how we operate. The following are the core values SSW has established as behavioural cornerstones of our organizational culture.
Integrity: Integrity at SSW is about being committed to doing what we say we will do and being transparent about it. As a member of the SSW Team I am committed to being honest, truthful and open in all that I say and do.
Respect: Respect means being committed to saying I will treat others with the utmost in professional respect and fairness and that I will demonstrate my appreciation to the many valuable and different contributions we all make. To understand that we each have our own multi-faceted perspective that should be considered. I will conduct myself in accordance with the law.
Open Minded: I am committed to supporting the progress of SSW through change and being flexible, innovative, resourceful and resilient. I will embrace new and different ideas that shape our current and future success.
Personal Responsibility: I am accountable to do my best to fulfill the role I've been given in order to support the SSW team. It is up to me to strive and meet my full potential as an individual so that I can be a powerful contributor to the success of SSW.
Trust: I will follow through on my commitments, take responsibility for my own actions and demonstrate that my actions are consistent with my words. My SSW team can count on me to fulfill my role to the best of my ability. Trust is built over time and when established can generate valuable and collaborative relationships.
Customer Satisfaction: I will listen and prioritize my customer wants and needs both internally and externally. It is up to me to create a "service mindset" and create processes and systems in order to seek out customer opportunities.
